What to Expect for Your Appointment

Below, you’ll find detailed information about our spa etiquette as well as our booking, cancellation and late policies. This section will help you understand our procedures and ensure a smooth, relaxing experience during your visit. Please take a moment to review these guidelines to make the most of your time with us.

Spa Etiquette

You don't need to worry about what to bring, as we provide everything you need for a comfortable experience!

On Arrival

If this is your first visit we ask you to please fill in your Client Intake Form online found in your Confirmation and Reminder emails. This helps our staff better understand your needs and concerns. 

Please arrive 15-minutes early for your appointment and enjoy a cup of organic Lemongrass tea.  As you enter, please remove your shoes and place them under the bench. You'll find a pair of comfortable flip-flops available for you to use during your visit. If it's your first appointment with us, we'll ask you to complete a client intake form.

We are set up in the Traditional Thai style of curtained rooms in an area we refer to as the "Zen Zone".  Please switch off your cellphones and be mindful of keeping conversation to the bare minimum so that others can enjoy their experience too.

At our spa, we aim for your complete relaxation and pleasure. You don't need to worry about what to bring, as we provide everything you need for a comfortable experience. Slip into loose Thai pants and a cozy T-shirt specially designed for your Thai massage. And if you're indulging in an Infrared sauna session, we've got you covered with towels, sarongs, and refreshing body wash. Your relaxation journey begins here!

Zero Tolerance for Abuse of Our Staff

We do not tolerate abuse on any level at any time towards our hard working and dedicated staff. In keeping with the spirit of Metta we have cultivated here, we reserve the right to refuse services or classes to anyone who treats our Staff and Teachers disrespectfully. This includes intolerance or discrimination because of race, gender and weight or any other unlawful grounds.

We are PCI Compliant and all Credit Cards entered through our Online Request service or Retail Shop (for Gift Cards) are secure.

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees and agents have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings. Bahn Thai Spa will never purposefully sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organization.

We will only ever use the details you share with us to make your experiences at Bahn Thai Spa exceptional, and nothing else!

Booking and Late Arrival Policies

As a courtesy to our hard-working therapists and practitioners who are only paid per hour, please review our policies below.

Credit Card Required to Hold All Bookings

As a courtesy to our hard-working therapists and practitioners who are only paid per hour of massage and due to the high volume of requests for our services we have a mandatory Credit Card requirement to hold all bookings. Please read the Cancellation Policies for Single, Couples and Group bookings below.

Late Arrival

Our appointments are set to give you a full 60, 90, 120, 180, 240 or 300 minutes of our Thai Massage experience. An additional 10 minutes is added on to the default booking times to allow for changing. In the interest of all of our guests, if you arrive late we reserve the right to curtail your appointment time and charge at the full rate in keeping with the booking in order to be fair to the next client. Please be mindful of our Arrival Policies for new clients and arrive 15 minutes beforehand to fill in a Health Questionnaire.

Cancellation Policies

As a courtesy to our hard-working therapists and practitioners who are only paid per hour, please review our policies below.

Appointment Cancellation Policies

The time slot allocated for your appointment is exclusively set aside for your benefit. If you happen to cancel or miss the appointment at short notice, it creates a gap in our therapists' schedule that could have accommodated another client. We kindly ask for a 24-hour notice if you need to modify or cancel your appointment. Cancellation within less than 24 hours notice or No Shows will be charged the full amount to the credit card on file.

Single Bookings

Any cancellation/rescheduling/no show can be made without charge up to 24 hours and before 6PM, 50% after 6PM and 100% same day.

Couples & Group Bookings

Any cancellation/rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge to the Credit Card and 100% will be charged for Cancellations/No Shows on the day of service. 

We will do our best to fill the spots but offer no guarantee.

Course Cancellation Policies (ITM Level 1 and Level 2)

We pride ourselves on our small, intimate classes.  As we need a minimum of 2 participants, the full rate for our Courses and Workshops must be paid 7 days in advance and is non-refundable. 

Class Cancellation Policies (Events)

Our Classes are extremely popular with a maximum of 10 participants. They must be purchased in advance. Due to the nature of our small gatherings we require 48 hours notice to cancel.

Introduction to Thai Massage 3 Hour Cancellation Policies

Our monthly Workshops are extremely popular with a maximum of 10 participants. They must be purchased in advance. You may transfer to another scheduled Workshop if you let us know at least 7 days in advance, otherwise there will be a 100% penalty.
